1. TW.org Posts?

As you might have noticed, there’s been a recent change in how we post updates from transformativeworks.org. Due to some restrictive API we now post updates from our Facebook, causing our links to direct towards FB instead of tw.org.

To find a more user friendly option, the Communication Committee is currently exploring alternative crossposting methods. If you have any suggestions or reading preferences we’d love to hear them. Thank you for your patience and your thoughts as we work towards finding the best solution.

  2. astolat answered: hey guys, an IFTTT.com recipe using tfworks.org RSS feed would probably work — see bit.ly/W0I9Zo
  3. amberfoxfire answered: The stupid, it burns.
  4. ratcreature answered: That FB thing doesn’t even work. I’m not shown a specific entry with a link FB without javascript. Just post the normal links.
  5. slash-girl answered: Doesn’t tumblr allow you to xpost to fb and twitter? Or, as elsewhere suggested, just post the actual links.
  6. stewardish answered: So this is happening because they use bitly which shortens urls? Why use bitly? What is the benefit of shortened, obscured urls.l

This would be an excellent time to let the transformativeworks Tumblr people know if you’re not the least bit interested...
  8. helens78-cat answered: Alternative crossposting method: Do it the old-fashioned way. JUST POST THE LINKS. It’s taking me 5 seconds each time. Do you not have that?
